The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”

Insight:

    Are you familiar with the song of Whitney Houston entitled “Greatest Love of All”. Its lyrics says :

    “ The greatest love of all, Is easy to achieve ,Learning to love yourself , It is the greatest love of all ”

    People who do not love their self have more difficulty accepting and getting along with other.

    The Bible says a good tree will bear good fruit, and a rotten tree will bear rotten fruit. Likewise, the “fruit” of our lives comes from the “root” within us. If you’re rooted in shame, guilt, inferiority, rejection, lack of love and acceptance, etc., the fruit of your relationships will suffer.

    Roots will produce good fruit if you accept God’s unconditional love. When you feel God’s love and learn to love yourself , then , it will be easier for you to love others too.
