Matthew 6:3    But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

Insights:

    The Bible says to give without letting “your left hand know what your right hand is doing.” It is a proverbial expression for doing a thing secretly. Do it as secretly as is consistent,With the doing it at all. With the doing it in the most effectual manner.

      The wrong kind of Martyr is when we loose the heart of a servant and soon begin to expect something in return.

    In other words, God wants us to serve and give without caring if people notice or recognize us.
